And whose responsibility is it to make society (at least in Roswell) a better place and work towards an ideal world? The mistreatment of animals and “weaker” humans is a symptom of more deep-rooted problems in a community. Apparently the “leadership” in Roswell is content to keep their world less than “ideal” as long as everyone gets to keep their jobs and their “good ole boy system” remains in tact
ROSWELL ANIMAL CONTROL is under the jurisdiction of the Roswell Police Department, so one would think that the police chief would be interested in any concerns one might have with “things not getting done.”
Don’t be fooled . . . animals are put in the garage kennels and “death room” kennels to which the public is denied access and the disposition or intake is not reported on the city records. THE ONLY WAY TO VERIFY THAT NO ANIMALS ARE BEING DESTROYED IS TO EXAMINE THE EUTHANASIA LOG.
It is unfair to characterize this as a “feud.” This is a group of concerned citizens trying to advocate for shelter reform. Animal Control and the city government are NOT immune to charges of animal cruelty, which can now be defined in the courts as failure to provide needed veterinary care.
He was in love with Libby, probably spent lifetimes trying to find her, and now that he did, was not going to settle for anything else. And Libby heard him.
